Happy New Year!

Now I’ll be the first to admit, I’m ready to leave 2022 behind.

This year wins the least-coveted award of being the hardest year of the decade, which is saying something on the heels of the last few years.

It sucked. It was brutal and painful. I lost my coveted, wholesome state of health and fitness and was sick all year. I navigated a bureaucratic, broken medical system that forced me to find my own answers and healthcare. I experienced deep depression and consuming anxiety. I lost my home to save my health and landed in the battle of my lifetime. I had to step back from my business to focus on my health and well-being. My spirit was crushed and needed deep restoration.

But don’t feel sorry for me! It was exactly as it was meant to be.

Fortunately, I am blessed to have an extraordinary circle of friends in my corner so I was very loved and supported at every twist and turn.

I also understand life’s biggest challenges often bury life’s greatest gifts.

Life’s challenges are an the invitation to excavate and closely examine life to learn, grow and create a life more aligned with what truly matters to each individual.

This year gave me bountiful opportunities to examine my life through the lens of my philosophies to discover new understandings and revelations so I could create alignment with what I truly want in life.

I believe:

• life happens FOR me, not TO me;

• my outer world is a reflection of my inner world;

• I am a powerful magnet and I attract into my life that which I believe, think, feel, speak and take action on;

• until I resolve any unproductive stories and get to the source of subconscious sabotaging beliefs, they will keep showing up in larger ways to force resolution.

Processing big lives requires being very conscious, committed, honest, loving, accepting and forgiving. It requires expert assistance and new tools.

Throughout the course of the year, I worked with amazing coaches, teachers, way-showers and healers. I learned new tools to excavate old stuff and find freedom (which was my word of the year for 2022!)

I journaled prolifically to capture revelations, document new growth, create new processes and design new systems and practices to serve me and my clients.

It was a year of miracles wrapped up in challenges that led to deep personal growth.

I’m not the same person who started 2022 and I love who I’ve evolved into.

My beliefs remain solidly intact and wholeheartedly served me. I am alive, strong and confident. I know how life works and it served me.

I have the ultimate experience of freedom.

From this place, I’m ready to call forth the New Year and design it with intention, power, alignment and possibility.

As much as I”m sure you would love to rush into the New Year and put 2022 in the rear view mirror, don’t miss out on an opportunity to learn from your diverse experiences.

I’ve created some journal prompts to help you explore the past year and launch into the New Year.  Below each image is a link so you can download a pdf of the image and use it for your planning purposes.

Are you ready for some reflection, intention and creation?

Start by creating a sacred space, pull out your favorite pens and journal or notebook (or your computer, pad, favorite electronic gadget). Start with a centering meditation to clear your mind and be present to what the year has to reveal. Set an intention that describes what you want to experience and then reflect on the following questions as they relate to 2022

Now, let’s turn our attention to the New Year.

It’s time to focus on your new dreams, new goals and new areas to develop, expand and explore. What you focus on expands, so let’s take a closer look at what you want to focus on in 2023:

If you put the time and attention into each of these questions, and any others of your own making, you will have a powerful foundation to close out 2022 launch into the New Year.

My New Year’s wish for you is…

To find more love in your heart
To celebrate your uniqueness and individuality
To have less fear and more courage
To live with intention
To know you are worthy to your core
To believe in your dreams & take action on them
To embrace your imperfections as you strive for excellence
To reach for harmony over discord
To use your authentic, beautiful voice
To seek to understand rather than judge
To feel peace in your heart

Here’s to a healthy, abundant and empowered New Year!
