Welcome to day 6 of the 30 day challenge to be inspired by creativity to more fully step into your life. This challenge stems from the Love Glasses Revolution and their movement to help all people find the good and hopeful in life and in themselves and to create a belief system where each of us has the power to change the world. My desire is to share my art and its story to encourage you to find your passion, follow your dreams, live your best life and leave the world a little better in the process. Today’s lesson – Follow Your Bliss!!
Do you follow your bliss? Sadly, most people fill their lives with what they believe they “have” to do and then, if they have any spare time, are not too tired and they don’t feel too selfish in the process, they may find some time to do what they truly enjoy.
But – follow their bliss?
Well, that feels like a selfish adventure that you do some time in the future when you’ve done all the things that you “should” do and “have” to do first.
The reality is following your bliss is the standard that leads to life purpose, authenticity and true quality of life. Bliss is the signal that something important is moving you to experience the path you were meant to pursue. When you have the courage to follow your bliss, it will consistently lead you down a path that uses your skills and talents in a way that is uniquely you. It provides meaning to your life. It allows you to share your gifts that the world is waiting to receive. It is not a selfish act of frivolity – it is a courageous act of purpose.
