The Napa Valley is known for many cultural and natural wonders: fine wine, beautiful vineyards, majestic mountains, fine dining and more than its fair share of talented artists. Napa is also very fortunate to have many art patrons to help spread the word and reach of the local Napa talents. The Westin Verasa Napa is a passionate advocate of the arts, with a focus on local Napa Valley artists.
I am fortunate to benefit from the Westin’s desire to showcase local artists. My art is currently on display at the Westin through March 31, 2017. I’m honored to be exhibiting alongside very talented Napa artists Sunshine Moeschler and Sue Bennett. Each of us has a very different style, yet they flow together with ease, much as our personalities. Sunshine paints in beautiful flowing abstracts, in soft colors that delight your senses. Sue also paints in the abstract and she gracefully incorporates natural components in a Flora Bowley style, yet uniquely her own.
My paintings are in the abstract using bold colors and empowering words and statements, designed to encourage the viewers to powerfully step into their authentic lives. One of my pieces is 40×30 and contains 20 Words to Live By, which is also the title of the painting. You can also find Thrive! and Your Time is Now on display, both of which are sure to spark an enthusiastic zest for life.
If you’re in Napa, or visiting Napa this spring, stop by (or stay at!) the Westin, located at 1314 Mckinstry Street, which is walking distance to the Oxbow and many tasting rooms. They are located right off the river, walk along the bike paths, enjoy the beautiful grounds, the food and service are second to none and they are dog friendly so you can stay with your four legged fur babies!
Here’s a peak of our art install, the finished project and some dog visit enticements. Each of the pieces is for sale, so if you find a painting that you must have, let me know or reach out to the Westin and we’ll happily help it find its new home.
