New Year Angel – The First Painting of the New Year

It was time to get creative.  I haven’t played in creativity or gotten my hands covered in paint in far too long.  I remedied this last weekend. One of my favorite artists is Tamara LaPorte.  She creates stylized, whimsy ladies and I simply love her style.  I’ve taken many online courses from her over the years.  One of her courses is Lifebook 2019.  Lifebook provides a new online art lesson each week for a year, each lesson taught by either Tam or a one of 32 renowned artists from around the world – all of whom I absolutely...

‘Tis the season: Planning. Goals. Resolutions. Intentions. Enthusiasm. Possibility. During the last several weeks, I’ve been in the throes of planning 2019. It’s an exciting time filled with nothing but possibility.  It allows me to stretch, grow, imagine what’s possible and then create the game plan to achieve it.  In all honesty, it’s also a bit of a challenging time.  Despite all the resources that bombard us at this time of the year to help us with the planning process, I have yet to find thee one resource that is perfectly suited to my...

It is based on inquiry, intention, imagination...

Word of the Year Painting Workshop

Recently, a group of women gathered at my studio to tap into their creativity and design a canvas to display their word of the year and usher in their desires and goals.  We started the workshop with a red thread ceremony to share our intentions and connect with one another more richly. Then we moved into the studio, selected canvases and started creating.  Paint, papers, jewelry combined with conversation, food and vino. Each lady flexed her creative muscles and created with the vigor of her inner child.  They created works of art imbued...

A Summer of Transformation

A Summer of Transformation

Well gang, it’s been quite the summer. I took the last couple of months off of social media as I’ve been focusing on LIFE. It’s been a sacred journey that was meant to be spent in introspection and discovery before sharing and engaging. There was a lot of clarity in the soul searching process as I connected to what really matters in my life and the ultimate reason I’m here on this planet. Everything I’ve ever done in my life, from being an attorney to creating art and everything in between, has always stemmed...
